road to cop29 branding

Developed the brand identity for the annual COP 29 conference which included a wordmark logo and social media quote templates.

//BRANDING DESIGN

Process Overview

PAGE runs a social media campaign in the lead up to The Conference of Parties (COP)—an annual conference held by the UN to discuss upcoming climate goals. I was tasked with creating a unified identity for this campaign that would reflect PAGE's usual branding, but could be applied to social content related to the COP 29 event. The Road to COP 29 branding utilizes PAGE's colors and fonts in new applications and introduces the arrow motif that indicates progress.

Color Selection

I selected bright purples from PAGE's usual identity to form the basis of the Road to COP 29 brand. These colors, paired in a gradient, convey the high energy direction I was looking for. COP is all about heading into the future in a positive direction and I wanted to be able to capture that in my color choices.

Arrow Motif

The arrows continue to push the idea of progress by signifying forward momentum. Arrows had been used in previous Road to COP logos, but I wanted to expand upon that idea. The arrows are used both in the logo and the Quote Cards and have been given a gradient to increase dimensionality.

Quote Cards

The Quote Cards were created to be used as social media posts that could share insights from conference speakers. They utilize the arrow motif to establish a more dynamic appearance that will be more engaging to viewers. The purpose of the cards is to boost engagement, so they need to be straight forward and eye catching.

outcomes

Increased awareness of the COP 29 event through engagement on PAGE's LinkedIn, Facebook, and X accounts.
